Emerald Grasshopper

Ozma attempts to identify the Princes and Princesses and Queen of Ev who have been transformed into bric-a-brac in the Nome King's palace, so she can transform them back to their normal selves. She has eleven guesses to find and transform at least one, but fails on them all, so she is transformed into a green emerald Grasshopper and joins the rest of the royal bric-a-brac. After Billina rescues the Queen of Ev from this terrible fate, the Queen identifies the grasshopper as Ozma, and Billina restores her to the pretty, young girl ruler of Oz that she really is.
