Ozma

Princess and rightful heir to the throne of Oz. As a baby she had been given to the old witch Mombi by the Wizard of Oz to raise. To conceal her identity, Mombi transformed her into a boy named Tip. When finally captured by Glinda and forced to to admit the truth, Mombi reverses the spell and returns Tip to the form of a lovely young girl, whereupon Ozma becomes the Ruler of Oz. Princess Ozma is an important figure in many of the succeeding adventures which occur in the Ozian fairylands.
