Jackdaws

After their escape in the Gump, Tip and his friends find themselves in the large nest of a colony of Jackdaws. This happens when the Gump's first return to earth ends in a disasterous crash landing. Before the Jackdaws could be beaten off, they manage to scatter all the Scarecrow's straw so he is reduced to just a pile of empty clothing. To restore him, Tip and his friends stuff the Scarecrow with paper of money found among the booty in the thieving Jackdaws' nest, making the Scarecrow very precious indeed. To escape the Jackdaws' nest the Wogglebug uses one of the Wishing Pills to restore the Gump to flying condition.
