Johnny Dooit

A master craftsman called on by the Shaggy Man to help Dorothy and her friends cross the Deadly Desert to the Land of Oz. He builds a boat which sails upon the sand and brings them to the Winkie Country. Since there is no way to stop the boat, once it reachs the other side it is smashed to pieces on the rocks. Johnny Dooit's hair and whiskers are grey, and the whiskers so long he wraps them around his waist and ties them under his dirty leather apron. He has a broad stuck-up nose and merry twinkling eyes.
