Billina

A yellow hen that travels to Oz with Dorothy after being blown overboard in a storm at sea while enroute to Australia. (See Ozma of Oz.) After they wash ashore in the Land of Ev, Billina finds a key which leads to the discovery of Tiktok. The yellow hen continues to be a key player in Dorothy's new adventure in the Land of Oz. Later Billina settles in Oz and raises a large family, all of which are named Dorothy or Daniel. There are nine Dorothys and two Daniels, and the nine Dorothys have 86 children and over 300 grandchildren. aka: Yellow Chicken.
