Sand Boat

A sailboat which Johnny Dooit builds for Dorothy and her friends to cross the Deadly Desert to the Land of Oz. It is designed like a catamaran, with a twin- keeled hull shaped like sled runners to glide over the sandy desert. It is destroyed when it dashes itself on the rocks after crossing the desert under full sail but is unable to stop.
