Wicker Castle

Home of Ugu the Shoemaker located 14 miles and 3 furlongs northeast of Bear Center in the Winkie Country. The sides and roof and domes of the castle are made of closely woven wicker. When Dorothy and her friends arrive at the castle on their search for Ozma, Ugu uses his magic to place three difficult barriers around the castle. The first is a Ring of Fire, which is defeated by the Wizard of Oz. The second is a Wall of Steel, which is defeated by the combined abilities of the Wizard and the Frogman. The last, a Regiment of Girl Soldiers, is defeated by Patches.
