Truth Pond

Dorothy and her friends find this beautiful pool shortly after arriving in the Winkie Country following their sail across the Deadly Desert. It is located in the far southwest of the Winkie Country, near the land of the Yips. The waters are cool and clear and the sides and bottom of the pond are lined with pink tiles. Anyone who bathes in the pond must forever after tell only the truth. The waters of this pool also can undo some enchantments because they change Button-Bright and the Shaggy Man's heads back to their natural form. In a later adventure the Frogman becomes honest and humble after swimming in this pond.
