Land of Oz
A mystical fairyland where Dorothy, Ozma, and their friends have many adventures. The name of Oz was given to the land by the Wizard after he united the Winkies, Munchkins, Quadlings, and Gillikins. The population of these lands is over 500,000. The name came from the first two initials of the Wizard's name. Long ago this land was originally united under a king, but evil witches in the North, South, East, and West defeated him and divided up the land among themselves. See also Queen Lurline.
