Electric cellos are made from clear finished hard maple or from optional special hardwoods, with a graduated ebony fingerboard. Cellos come with a complete brace system (endpin, knee brace and chest rest), fourth position thumb stop, Jargar A-D-G-C string set or other professional quality strings (pricing varies), active preamplifier with tone and volume controls, and large size precision machine tuners in a choice of black, gold, or chrome finish. MlDI-compatible cellos are supplied with a monophonic audio output regulated by tone and volume controls, and polyphonic output compatible with standard MIDI converters.
