Registration and tournament information was mailed (via U.S. Postal Service) to all USFA members in the Pacific Northwest Section. Your registration form and payment must be postmarked by Friday, May 5th, or be subject to late fees. (Unfortunately, the mailed information mistakenly stated that May 3rd is the postmark deadline. The actual deadline is May 5th.) Emailed or faxed registration will not be accepted. If you did not receive an information packet, you can download the entry form here. |

The format will be straight pools. All events will be scored electrically. |

| Who Can Compete | ||
|
All competitors must be full competitive members (junior or senior) of the USFA. "Fence for Fun" members cannot compete in this event. You may join the USFA or upgrade your membership at the tournament. If you're not sure of your membership level, bring your card! All competitors must be members of the Pacific Northwest Section of the USFA. This includes the following divisions: Western Washington, Inland Empire, Oregon, Alaska, and Utah/S.Idaho. All competitors in the Under-19 qualifying events must have birth year between 1981 and 1987, inclusive. |

| Uniform and Equipment Requirements | ||
![]() |
Uniform and equipment requirements are described in detail on the WWD webpage here. Please read them. Also, remember that you are required to bring 2 working weapons and 2 working body cords to the strip. Failure to have any of the above is a Group I offense -- yellow card for the first offense in a bout, red card for each successive offense. For items which must be pre-inspected (at this tournament, body cords, mask cords, lamés, overgloves, and sabre masks), a missing inspection mark is an immediate red card. |

| Who Qualifies | ||
![]() |
Open events: The top ten finishers in an open event qualify for Division IA. Of the competitors who are rated "C" or under and have not already qualified for Division II through another path, the top six finishers qualify for Division II. (I.e., take the final results for an event, cross out all the A's and B's, cross out all the competitors who have already qualified for Division II, the top six of whoever's left qualify for Division II.) Under-19 events: The top 30% (rounded up) of the competitors in an Under-19 qualifying event qualify for Under-19 Nationals. The top finisher (Section champion) in each Under-19 event also qualifies for the corresponding Division IA event. Full details are available on the USFA website here. |
