The First
Thanksgiving
by Doran
The first Thanksgiving was at Plymouth Plantation, Massachusetts in 1621. Pilgrims invited
the Indians who had helped them learn to plant corn to a feast.
There were about ninety Indians and fifty Pilgrims. For three days they thanked God, ate,
danced and sang, and played games.

parents.
Our class had fun at home in the snow. We wrote things we’re thankful for on turkey feathers. We wrote
about the 5 food groups and voted on our food group favorites.
