Special End of the Year Edition!

Jessica and Andy
Room 9, Grade 3

Our favorite assembly was Mr. L’s Rap. Everybody was laughing. Last week we went swimming. We had lots of fun.

Jenna and Rachel
Room 14, Grade 2

Our favorite assembly this year was Alice in Wonderland. We learned a lot of math this year, and we did a lot of reading in second grade.

Cam and Lucy

From the whole class:
Field Trips: Bowling, Pumpkin Patch, Museum of Flight, Puyallup Fair
We learned: Spanish, fractions, spelling, indenting, calendar, reading, math, sign language
Funny stuff: Fire drill bell kept ringing, no pizza party because the oven broke
We’ll miss: Number line, the teacher, student store, all the kids in class, friends
Favorite assemblies: Alice in Wonderland, Mr. L’s Rap and Motorcycle, Three Little Pigs, Preventor Cards
Vacation plans: Disneyworld, Lake Chelan, Orcas Island, boating, Oregon Coast - Tillamook Cheese Factory, visiting friend in Florida, Hungary

Jayson and Matt
Room 24, Grades 4 & 5

Our fifth graders went to the Mariners game on June third. It was very exciting, and we got to do whatever we wanted. The fifth grade graduation is coming up, and we are very happy! So long, fourth graders! We will be sad not to be able to say our teacher is Michael Jordan.

Chelsea and Phil
Room 15, Grades 2 & 3

We went to the zoo last Friday. We are going on a scavenger hunt to find all different places in the zoo. The reason we are going to the zoo is because we read the book Terror at the Zoo. We are going to retrace their steps.

Wendy and Eileen
Room 7, Grade 4

From Wendy:
We, Room 7, have gone on nine field trips all together. One was at the Woodland Park Zoo. This year we learned ratios, fractions, and how to use good and well. We also learned what an adverb is. The funniest thing that happened in school is when Mr. Leatherman rode his motorcycle down the aisle of the assembly. My summer plans are to have fun, swim and go camping, and read. When school is out, I will miss my friends and all the work (well maybe not miss it very much), and most of all, the fun I have had at school. But even though I will miss those things, I can’t wait for summer vacation.
From Eileen:
We went to the Underground Tour. The toilets were called crappers, and when you flushed them they exploded. We got to see a picture of Seattle on fire. The fire started in a woodwork shop, and it was next to a warehouse that had gunpowder. We also went to a Chinese restaurant.

Brittany
Room 3, Kindergarten

I liked our zoo field trip. I learned reading. My favorite assembly was Alice in Wonderland. I will miss my classmates and Ms. Stroh.

Taylor and Teddy
Room 16, Grades 1, 2 & 3

The only thing we will miss about school is our friends. The field trip that we liked the most was when we went to go see “The Hardy Boys” and “Alice in Wonderland”. Our favorite assembly was the play “The Three Little Pigs”. So long from Room 16.
Mr. Femiano’s class is awesome!

Dao and Olivia
Room 18, Grade 2

We’ll miss our class and our teacher too. Her name is Ms. Shavey. Her mother lives in Texas. Her mother had a heart attack, and she had to go to Texas to see her mother, and we all miss her. And we have a new teacher. Her name is Miss Seidel.
