"What's
the neatest thing you've found on the Internet?"

Mike Halsey, Television producer, Kirkland
"You know how when you hear a song on the radio and you can't think of the lyrics? You just punch in the lyric and there it is! I said 'lyrics find' in Yahoo! [see also: International Lyrics Server]. You can punch in one word, or the name of the artist, and then you can print them out. That's cool."
James Robson, Marketing consultant, Sammamish City
"I just use it for looking up things. It's a great way to find sources of info from all over the world. I read the newspaper from back in my hometown, Galveston, Texas... I also check various publications -- trade magazines libraries don't typically have and that cost you a whole lot of money. And my hobby is riding Harley-Davidsons so I'm always looking up things about that."
Irene Ross, Sales, Redmond
"I'm new at it, I'm really a beginner, but I think it's great you can find many authors and subjects at once, and print it out, have the info right in front of you. It gives you more choices."
Mike Groves, Community college student, Redmond
"Amazon.com is pretty nice as far as finding any types of books. I've ordered from there. Basically you can order books just from sitting in your house."
Ralph Huntzinger, Reference librarian, Shoreline
"There's a couple of neat card tricks on the Web. The most recent one is a corporate magician's -- he does magic for corporate trade shows and such. It's a rather cute and interesting card trick. And there's a great site [see also: Ian McColl's site] relating to the handcuffs that were reproduced for the upcoming TNT movie, HOUDINI (Dec. 6, '98)."
Charlie Dueñas, Promoter/producer, Issaquah
"I really don't do too much surfing for myself. For the most part, it's for info for my business. Various stuff -- record labels, managers, promotional companies, club dates. I'm putting together a recording studio so it's really important to keep tabs on what's going on in the music industry."
